Better Analyst only issues SOQL SELECT queries and Bulk API 2.0 query jobs and has no write path. Salesforce has no read-only OAuth scope, though: the api scope carries the connecting user’s full API rights. Connect with a dedicated integration user whose permission set grants read access only.
Only the objects selected when the connector is saved, up to 40 per org, and only the fields the connecting user can see. Standard objects such as Account, Opportunity, Lead, and Case are suggested by default; custom __c objects can be added.
Yes. Choose Production, Sandbox (test.salesforce.com), or enter your My Domain host ending in .my.salesforce.com when you authorize.
