Projects
Keep related worktogether.
A project holds the chats, dashboards, Data Flows, alerts, and tasks for a client, a team, a campaign, or anything else, and sets which data sources, agents, and brand new chats start with.
Pick a project, see only its work
Choose a project in the switcher and the sidebar, dashboards, Data Flows, alerts, tasks, and Library show only that project. A new chat starts inside it, limited to the data sources you chose for the project and set up with its agents and brand.

Private projects
Limit a project to the people who work on it
On the Business plan, owners and admins can make a team project private, for one client's account team or a department working on something sensitive. Owners and admins always see everything.
Read about private projects- Only the members you choose, plus owners and admins, can see the project and its chats, dashboards, Data Flows, alerts, and tasks
- For everyone else it doesn’t exist: it isn’t in the switcher, pickers, or counts, in the app, in Slack, or in emails
- Mark a data source as Only this project, so people outside it never see the source
- Only owners and admins can make public links or move work out of the project
- Tasks, alerts, and dashboards in it don’t post to Slack channels, because we can’t check who is in a channel. Direct messages to members still work
Set up a project
1
Name it
Open the project switcher at the top of the sidebar, choose New project, and give it a name and a colour.
2
Choose its data sources
Chats in the project can use only the sources you tick, and new chats start with them. Leave them all unticked to allow every source.
3
Add agents and a brand
Pick the agents new chats start with, and put the project’s instructions and background in an agent. Choose a brand for its charts and dashboards.
4
Move work in
Move matching chats in one step. Dashboards, Data Flows, and alerts made in a chat move with it, so they stay together.
Projects work in your personal workspace and in team workspaces, where owners and admins create and change them. Max includes 100 projects per team workspace and Business includes 1,000. On Free and Starter you can look around, and creating a project needs an upgrade.
