Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to delete the data Better Analyst (operated by Datasetmatch LLC) holds about you, including data received from Meta (Facebook) when you connect your ad accounts. For full details on what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.

What we store when you connect Meta Ads

  • An encrypted Meta access token that lets Better Analyst read ad reports for you.
  • Your Meta user ID and name, and the IDs and names of the ad accounts and business portfolios you choose to connect.
  • Reports, tables, charts, and dashboards you create from your ad data in Better Analyst.

Better Analyst only reads ad performance reports. It never creates or changes your ads, budgets, or audiences, never sells your data, and never uses it for its own advertising.

Option 1: Disconnect Meta Ads

  1. Sign in at app.betteranalyst.com.
  2. Open Connectors and select Meta Ads.
  3. Next to your Meta account, click Remove, then confirm Disconnect.

Disconnecting immediately deletes the stored Meta access token and connection details, and Better Analyst can no longer read your ad accounts. Reports and dashboards you already created stay in your workspace until you delete them, and you can delete any chat, file, or dashboard yourself at any time.

Option 2: Remove the app from Facebook

  1. On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations.
  2. Find Better Analyst Connectors and click Remove.

This revokes Better Analyst's access on Meta's side right away. To also delete the stored connection details from Better Analyst, use Option 1 or Option 4.

Option 3: Delete your Better Analyst account

  1. Sign in at app.betteranalyst.com.
  2. Open your profile menu and choose Profile Settings.
  3. Under Danger Zone, click Delete Account and confirm.

Deleting your account permanently deletes your account, your connected accounts (including Meta access tokens), and your chats, files, and personal dashboards. If you own a team, transfer or delete the team first.

Option 4: Ask us to delete your data

Email hello@betteranalyst.com with the subject "Data deletion request" from the email address on your Better Analyst account. Tell us whether you want only your Meta data deleted or your whole account.

We may ask you to verify your identity. We complete deletion within 30 days and confirm by email. We may keep a minimal record of the request, and information we must retain for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons, as described in our Privacy Policy.
